Dream Journey: Alternia

If I could go absolutely anywhere... I would probably go to Alternia.

Alternia is a planet in the Beforus system, and a made up place in the Homestuck universes. (Yes, universes. Any sensible story should have at least five universes at hand at all times.)

The planet is very inhospitable, with it's thin atmosphere and burning sun. The sun is hot enough to cause nasty burns, blindness, or in the worst cases, melt skin off bones! This is why the people who live on Alternia (Trolls, or to be more politically correct, alternians.) are mainly nocturnal. Only a few alternians can actually go out in the sun without damage.

The places I would like to visit on Alternia is probably the Execution-spot of The Dolorosa (She played a mayor part in the Empire's last, but sadly failed revolution.), The Disciple's Furest (Forest, but with a catastrophic pun!), and, of course, The Grand Highblood's castle. And who wouldn't love to see the pink and green moons? Or the great lusii with their charges!

Lusii are the beasts of Alternia, deadly like few and mutated to survive the harsh conditions. These are actually the guardians of the alternian people's children, as trolls don't have maternal instincts. Most non-mammals don't care about that stuff all that much, I guess.

The air of Alternia is filled with gas, but, in canonical evidence from the great Hussie himself, it shows that it is not dangerous to humans. Especially as we ingest/breathe in deadly poisons ourself, daily. (Capsaicin, car fumes, etc.) The sun does of course cause a mayor problem, and if a human, (me) were to stay at the planet for extended periods of time they (me) would have to stay at one of the sun-free inns that the trolls run in one of the mayor cities.

Sadly, this place isn't real, and even if it was, I would obviously have no means to go there. And, even then, I would probably be killed in the name of Her Imperial Condensation for being a weird, redblooded alien. (Their society is a... Tad more violent than ours.) But if I could visit, and wouldn't get killed for doing so, I would bring my fellow Homestucks with me to watch the moonrise.

And with fellow Homestucks, I mean internet people that are as crazy about this subject as I am.
